Description
Nexplore Chess, in partnership with MM Chess Academy, introduces students to the game of chess and helps them develop critical thinking, strategy, and problem-solving skills. During the course, students practice chess basics, different opening strategies, and how to checkmate their opponent. Working through the Nexplore-exclusive workbook “How To Beat Your Friends in Chess,” students move up “bracelets” just like karate belts, and each level unlocks new potential! For an enhanced experience, students will earn Progress Bracelets. These fun, collectibles are themed after the chess pieces and are awarded as students advance through different levels! In addition, students will use Student Workbooks to track progress, reinforce learning, and stay challenged!

The registration period for all Enrichment and Afterschool Programming runs from October 27–November 7, 2025 at 11:30pm.
Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made during the registration period.
The last day to cancel an enrollment is Friday, November 7, 2025, before 11:30 p.m. After registration closes, no changes or refunds will be permitted.
