Description
Discover the world of computer science through creative, hands-on challenges! Students will explore the basics of coding using age-appropriate tools like icon and block coding while being introduced to key computer science topics such as cybersecurity, algorithms, and digital citizenship. Through designing interactive stories and games, students learn how to think logically, solve problems, and gain confidence as creators—not just consumers—of technology. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device): Students may bring their own iPad or laptop if they have permission to install apps. This isn’t required, but it can be helpful since students often feel more comfortable using their own device and will have continued access to the software at home. Shared devices will be available for anyone who doesn’t bring one. Minimum Supported Operating Systems: Chromebook: Chrome OS 114 or newer Mac: macOS 12 (Monterey) or newer PC: Windows 10 or newer Android Phone/Tablet: Android 8 or newer iPhone/iPad: iOS 13 / iPadOS 13 or newer Please ensure devices are fully charged and brought to each class with their chargers.

About the provider
Minds in Motion
KTNC is a creative enrichment program designed to spark your child’s curiosity, build their confidence, and nurture a genuine love of learning. Through hands-on classes that mix problem-solving, creativity, and imaginative play, we help kids explore how things work—and discover the joy of building something all their own. We believe learning should be fun, meaningful, and screen-smart—using technology as a tool for creativity, not just consumption.
