Computer Science FUNdamentals: Minecraft Edition

DescriptionStep into the world of Minecraft and unlock the exciting world of computer science! In this hands-on class, students will explore foundational technology concepts in a fun, interactive environment. Designed for K–5th graders, this course introduces students to coding, artificial intelligence, and cyber safety while building creativity and problem-solving skills inside Minecraft Education. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device): Students may bring their own iPad or laptop if they have permission to install apps. This isn’t required, but it can be helpful since students often feel more comfortable using their own device and will have continued access to the software at home. Shared devices will be available for anyone who doesn’t bring one. Minimum Supported Operating Systems: Chromebook: Chrome OS 114 or newer Mac: macOS 12 (Monterey) or newer PC: Windows 10 or newer Android Phone/Tablet: Android 8 or newer iPhone/iPad: iOS 13 / iPadOS 13 or newer Please ensure devices are fully charged and brought to each class with their chargers.
