Description
Fast-paced fun meets friendly competition in Lobster Jo's after-school pickleball program! Kids will learn the fundamentals of one of the fastest-growing sports—serving, rallying, footwork, scoring, and strategy—all in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Through playful drills, teamwork challenges, and mini-matches, children build coordination, confidence, and sportsmanship, all while staying active and having a blast.
No experience needed—just bring your energy and closed-toe shoes. All equipment is provided!
Whether you're new to the game or already love to play, this program is perfect for kids who enjoy moving, learning, and making new friends on and off the court.

Cancellation policy
Refund Policy
A 100% refund will be given for activities cancelled by the Lobster Jo's. Refund fees are applied based on how soon a camp or activity starts after the withdrawal date. To minimize refund fees, please be aware of the timeframes listed below and the exception for medical reasons:
If you make your cancellation request:
15 days or more before the start of the program: 90% refund
5 to 14 days before the start of the program: 50% refund
Less than five days before the start of the program: We will not give refunds for withdrawals or cancellations made less than five days before the start of the enrolled camp.
Medical reasons for cancellation
If your camper has a medical emergency or becomes ill, please let us know as soon as you can if this will affect participation in the registered camp or activity. A doctor’s note may be required to process your refund. If a participant cannot transfer to a later camp, a 90% camp refund will be applied.

Skateboarding at School: Join our exciting "Skateboarding at School" program in Santa Barbara, where kids can learn the fundamentals of skateboarding in a fun and safe environment! Our experienced instructors will guide students through beginner tricks like ollies, shove-its, kickturns, manuals, and drop-ins. They'll also master essential techniques such as stance and balance, pushing and stopping, turning and carving, and skate park safety and etiquette. Whether your child is a complete beginner or looking to refine their skills, our program is designed to cater to all levels. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in skateboarding and the confidence to continue progressing.
Treasures of the Tides: Join us on an exhilarating journey through the enchanting realms of the Santa Barbara Channel. From uncovering the secrets of local history and marine life to unleashing your artistic brilliance with Gyotaku fish printing, algea pressing, and salt clay creations, every session is a captivating blend of learning, adventure, and hands-on fun. Let your imagination run wild as we explore ocean-inspired games, tarp surfing, veggie sushi making, and more. With a perfect balance of indoor insights and outdoor escapades, our program promises to ignite young minds, energize bodies, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
