Hooray! So glad you're interested in enrolling your kid in social emotional learning + life skills classes with Gummy Loves LLC. This season Maddie Stinson will be leading Conflict Resolution. Miss Maddie is currently a senior at LMU majoring in Psychology. She hopes to work with kids in the future- specifically in Childhood Development.
Does your child know how to recognize triggers? Do they have active listening skills? Can they identify types of conflict? Well learning about Conflict Resolution at your child's age has fantastic benefits for the following:
Improved Emotional Regulation
Learning to manage strong emotions like anger, frustration or jealousy will help reduce impulsive behavior and emotional outbursts.
Better Communication Skills
Teaches kids how to express themselves clearly and respectfully, and how to listen to others’ perspectives.
Reduced Bullying and Aggression
Decreases physical and verbal aggression and promotes peaceful problem-solving in school environments.
Greater Confidence and Independence
Kids gain the confidence to solve problems on their own and feel more in control of their social experiences.
Enhanced Decision-Making and Problem Solving
Kids practice evaluating situations, weighing consequences, and choosing solutions that are respectful and fair.
With all those benefits mentioned, here is a snippet of the class schedule. In week 2, we'll identify feelings. In week 6, we’ll do an activity and problem-solve together. In week 8, we will talk about the role of empathy in conflict. Our hope is that your child learns how to solve problems with others in a kind way so everyone feels heard, safe and respected. AND most importantly, if enrolled, enjoy this class.

What to bring
No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
CANCELLATION OF CLASS: Gummy Loves LLC reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment. If a class is cancelled, students will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another class. If a student does not enroll in another class, they will receive a full refund.
CANCELLATION AT THE FAULT OF TEACHER: If the instructor cancels the class, Gummy Loves LLC will notify the parents. Students/parents can be notified the day of the class. Gummy Loves LLC will offer a full refund for the cancelled class or a credit, which can be used for any future class.
CANCELLATION DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES: If the class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances which may include natural disasters or governmental actions etc, Gummy Loves LLC will notify the parents. Students/parents can be notified the day of the class. Gummy Loves LLC will offer a credit, which can be used for any future class.
WITHDRAWAL: Students may withdraw from a class before or within 24 hours after the first class. Gummy Loves LLC will refund the tuition (minus the cost of the first class and a $25 processing fee). No further refunds will be processed after that window.
ABSENCES: No refunds or credits will be given for any missed days. However, your child will be given the activities on the days that were missed.

Gummy Loves Classes would love to teach you! We offer courses focusing on Social Emotional Learning and Life Skills.
The Story: There’s a girl nicknamed Gummy who loves to learn. Her mom teaches her lots of things and so her mom creates classes for other kids to learn too.
