Ready to take your love for Minecraft to the next level? In this exciting course, Coding Mind invites students in grades 2-4 to learn block-based programming through the ever-popular Minecraft: Education Edition! Using Microsoft MakeCode , you’ll discover how to code while exploring and creating within the Minecraft world. This course is perfect for beginner and intermediate coders alike—no prior coding experience needed! Not only will students gain valuable coding and problem-solving skills, but they’ll also have a blast doing it! By combining the creativity of Minecraft with the logic of block-based coding, this course sets the foundation for future tech skills in an engaging and interactive way. Students will take a technical deep dive into programming using block code by participating in several engaging and practical projects. Students will be able to do the following throughout their coding journey: ● Learn about the mechanics of Minecraft like players and blocks. ● Dive into the use of pre-algebra concepts like coordinate planes to create programs that solve certain problems. ● Learn to code intelligent agents that can interact with the environment—whether it’s building, mining, or defending against threats! ● Incorporate variables, conditionals, loops, and functions to design complex, dynamic programs using block-based coding. ● Apply more advanced programming concepts like string manipulation and arithmetic operations to bring your creations to life.

All Enrichment and Afterschool Programming: the last day to cancel an enrollment is 08/18/2025 at 11:30 pm.
Early Dismissal Wednesday Program: the last day to cancel any enrollment is 07/28/2025.
Once registration closes, changes will not be honored and no refunds will be given.
