Description
In this fun and enriching class, students will explore the world of clay through exciting hands-on projects that spark creativity and imagination. They'll learn foundational hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab construction to create bowls, cups, sculptures, and more—each one a reflection of their unique artistic voice. Students will be introduced to essential clay tools and building methods as they shape and design their own clay creations. To enhance the experience, the pottery wheel will be incorporated in a playful and engaging way—offering students a chance to enjoy the tactile, spinning fun of wheel throwing while gaining a new perspective on working with clay. Decorative techniques such as carving, stamping, and glazing will allow students to add color, texture, and detail to their projects. Throughout the course, they’ll be encouraged to explore form, surface design, and artistic expression while building confidence in their creative abilities. Using air-dry clay and vibrant finishes, they’ll leave with beautiful, handmade pieces and a deeper appreciation for the art of pottery. This class offers a joyful introduction to clay in a supportive and inspiring environment where creativity takes shape.

Early Dismissal Wednesday Program: the last day to cancel any enrollment is 07/28/2025.
Once registration closes, changes will not be honored and no refunds will be given.
