Description
Get ready to blast off into creativity! In Cosmic StoryLab, students in Grades 2–4 will become authors, illustrators, and animators as they create their very own animated space-themed book using Canva! In this hands-on digital storytelling program, kids will explore the wonders of our solar system—planets, stars, moons, and beyond—while learning how to use Canva’s kid-friendly tools to design pages, add animations, and bring their cosmic stories to life. Each session includes guided lessons on storytelling, digital design, and animation basics, followed by creative time to build their own “spacebook”—a fun, educational, and fully animated digital book they’ll be proud to share! 🚀 In Cosmic StoryLab, students will: ● Learn how to use Canva to design pages and add animated elements ● Explore fun facts about planets, space travel, and the solar system ● Build storytelling skills through writing, layout, and visual design ● Create a complete animated digital book with characters, text, and motion ● Strengthen digital confidence and creativity in a fun, supportive space ● Class opportunity to present their final “Spacebook” that builds public speaking skills Whether your child dreams of traveling to Mars or building a rocket ship, Cosmic StoryLab gives them the tools to turn imagination into an animated adventure
