In the GameMakers Club by Techno Smart Kids, your young coder will learn the basics of computer programming by creating their own games and animations using Scratch and beginner-friendly block-based app! This fun and educational program introduces K–1 students to the world of coding through storytelling, character design, and interactive projects. Each session includes structured instruction time where students learn coding concepts like sequencing, loops, and events—along with freedom to add their own creative touch. Kids don’t just watch—they build and play what they create! It’s the perfect mix of learning and imagination, turning kids into confident digital creators. No experience is needed—just curiosity and a love for stories, games, or art! In GameMakers Club, students will: ● Learn basic coding concepts using block-based tools ,Scratch ● Create simple games, and animated stories ● Understand sequencing, events, loops, and character motion ● Build problem-solving and logical thinking skills through hands-on projects ● Express creativity through characters, sounds, and animations ● Share their creations in class and take home on USB to share with family in a fun, kid-safe environment. Submit their projects to a private studio on Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) for safe sharing ● Participate in Scratch Week (May)—a global celebration where students can share themed projects with the world With a balance of guided lessons and creative freedom, GameMakers Club helps students build early coding confidence while having a blast.
