Description"Art Around the World is an engaging and exploratory visual arts class designed to introduce elementary students to the diverse artistic traditions, techniques, and stories from cultures across the globe. Students will “travel” from continent to continent, discovering how people express identity, beliefs, and community through art. Through hands-on projects, students will work with a wide variety of materials to bring global art traditions to life in their own creative way. Key Concepts & Skills: 1.
