DescriptionLet’s immerse ourselves in the French culture at an early age to gain understanding of the world around us. In this class, the students will begin to comprehend basic words and simple phrases. They will learn through various tasks from worksheets to hands-on art projects and acting out weekly topics to speak the language, write words and short sentences and sing aloud in French together. We will begin with French greetings and introductions, then move on to alphabet and numbers to 10. The following weeks will include practicing colors and shapes, the days of the week, months, the four seasons and how to describe the weather. We will learn the words used to describe words inside and outside of the house and the words to describe our families. The students will learn how to identify and say animal and pet names. We will set up a restaurant and be able to order food to take back to the desks and use our manners to kindly say thank you and please. We will learn the four basic questions who, what, where, when, how. This class will be a fun memorable experience that will prepare the students for traveling to French countries and interact with the locals.
