Welcome to the Comic Creators Club by Techno Smart Kids— Where Stories Come to Life—One Panel at a Time! It’s a creative storytelling adventure where students design and illustrate their very own comics using the Canva app! Perfect for imaginative minds in Grades 2–4, this class blends digital design skills with storytelling and visual expression. Kids will learn how to create characters, build a storyline, and bring it all to life using Canva’s easy-to-use templates, design tools, speech bubbles, and illustrations. Whether it's a superhero saving the day or a silly cat on a mission, their stories will leap off the screen—designed and written entirely by them! Each session includes guided instruction to teach key storytelling and digital design skills, followed by time for students to create, customize, and bring their comic ideas to life. ________________________________________ In Comic Creators Club, students will: ● Learn the basics of comic storytelling: characters, settings, and dialogue ● Use Canva to design their own comic panels with images, text, and backgrounds ● Explore concepts like storyboarding, pacing, and visual storytelling ● Strengthen writing, sequencing, and digital creativity skills ● Create complete, original digital comic ● Share their finished comics digitally or print them out to take home ________________________________________ Whether your child dreams of writing funny adventures or heroic tales, Comic Creators Club gives them the tools to turn ideas into illustrated stories—while building confidence and creativity in the digital world. All Enrichment and Afterschool Programming: the last day to cancel an enrollment is 08/18/2025 at 11:30 pm.
Early Dismissal Wednesday Program: the last day to cancel any enrollment is 07/28/2025.
Once registration closes, changes will not be honored and no refunds will be given.
