Description
An education in Martial Arts has been shown to have a positive effect on children’s overall resilience as well as their academic, social and emotional self-efficacy. Our children’s program is designed to encourage personal growth, self reliance, and mental focus. Our Budo class includes basics stance forms, rolls/tumbling, evading and fun confidence building drills, while teaching the importance of taking personal responsibility and that success comes from hard work, grit and consistency.

Providing Specialty classes in Schools and Recreation Centers since 1994
Happy Feet Kids Classes would love to offer a specialty class at your preschool, elementary school or recreation center during the school year, or a week long camp over the Summer or any holiday break! Laura Schifferli, the founder and manager of HFKids started teaching in Southern California in the early 90s under her first business name of The Happy Feet School of Dance, and since then has broadened her class offerings to over 20 different styles of classes, with the list ever growing :) Laura has taken HFKids nationally, currently offering classes in California and North Carolina, and has begun to offer teacher trainings in suburb and metropolitan areas throughout the U.S. Contact Laura at happyfeetkids.net@gmail.com for more information!
