Dear MX caregivers and families, The 2026 Spring Malcolm X PTA Enrichment Classes registration opens December 16, 2025. Please explore courses, view detailed class descriptions, and instructor bios. We have increased Scholarships. We have some NEW classes. Mx PTA now has after-school enrichment classes 5-days-a-week ! ASE has added several new classes! If you are buying multiple classes for your student, you can use a "discount codes" for multiple classes. To sign up for Classes, continue below. Dec 16 to January 24 Scholarship Applications: Dec 16 to January 24* * we will hold a spot as we generate the code. Last day to Register. January 28 Classes Start: February 2nd Drop Deadline First day of class. Classes End: After 12 Lessons* *All classes have one make-up day. Class Days: - Monday & Friday – 12 Classes - Feb 2 - May 13 (+ 1 makeup day) - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday on May 2nd. – 12 Classes - Feb 2 - May 2 (+ 1 makeup day) Class Times TK/K 1:30p to 2:15p (45 min) 1st-5th 2:30p to 3:30p (1 hour) Wednesday is early release day and all classes run simultaneously. * Some Wednesday classes run 90 Minutes, See Course Descriptions for more info. NOTES * Make-up days in the event of an unforeseen instructor cancellation. * Drop Deadline - f you are unsure, please contact the faculty in January. Some instructors cannot drop you after classes begin. * Add Deadline - some instructors will allow you to add the class prorated if late. Others require full tuition. * No classes during the following days: Feb 13, 16 March 16, March 30 - April 3 Spring Break May 15 Parents, please arrive promptly at 2:15 (for TK) and 3:30 (for 1st – 5th). Remember all Wednesday is early release day ----MULTI-CLASS DISCOUNT CODES----- If you are purchasing mulitiple classes for your student, you can use the below codes. Please DO NOT USE use the wrong code as Homeroom will reject it and the transaction will be cancelled. "1CLASS05" "1 class @ 5% scholarship" "2CLASS10" "2 classes @ 10% scholarship on both classes" "3CLASS15" "3 classes @ 15% scholarship on all classes" "4CLASS20" "4 classes @ 20% scholarship on all classes" Please DO NOT USE use the wrong code as Homeroom will reject it. If your need is different, instead apply for a scholarship. ----- SCHOLARSHIPS ----- If you need a scholarship DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE CLASS. As long as you send in your application BEFORE the class is full we will hold a spot for you. (Typically we give 1 class, per student / per term). For this reason, please be sure your student attends class meetings. If you are willing to sponsor a scholarship, please go to the Mx PTA Website's Fundraising page at: https://www.malcolmxelementary.org/. ----- ADMISSION & WAITLIST ----- All Classes have a Minimum number of required students and a Maximum number of accepted students. Registration will be on a First Come / First Signed up basis, until the course reaches its Minimum Number. After that registration will shift to WAITLIST mode. SCHOLARSHIPS will be processed before the waitlisted students are let in. For many classes the minimum number is 6-8 and the maximum is 12-16 so all families still have a chance to get into their desired class. Thank you. MX PTA ASE
