Greetings MX Families, Registration is Coming for Spring 2025 AfterSchool PTA Enrichment Classes Please explore courses, view detailed class descriptions, and instructor bios. ---------- Important Dates 1/27 - Registration Begins 2/7 - Priority Registration Ends (Classes assigned by Lottery) 1/27-2/7 - Invoices Sent. 2/8 - PAYMENT IS DUE 24HOURS AFTER YOU ARE ADDED TO THE CLASS. 2/12 - Last Day to Register if you missed the Lottery 2/19 - Classes Start! 5/14 - Last Day of Classes. (Note: Make up classes may be scheduled beyond this date) Class Holidays PLEASE NOTE: There will be no after school classes on the following dates: Mon, 2/17 - No School Fri, 3/14 - No School Mon, 3/31 - Spring Break Wed, 4/2 - Spring Break Fri, 4/4 - Spring Break Fri, 5/16 - No School Please Note due to the Holiday Scheduling this term there will be: 11 Monday Class Sessions 12 Wednesday Class Sessions 10 Friday Class Sessions When are the Classes? TK/K classes begin at 1:30 and end at 2:15. Parents, please arrive promptly so that upper level classes can begin at 2:20. 1st-5th grade classes begin at 2:20 on Mondays and Fridays and end at 3:30 in most cases Wednesday is early release day and most classes run from 1:30-2:30. (Please Note: Some classes run 90 Minutes and will release later than stated above - See Course Descriptions for more info) Scholarships: Many students are eligible for scholarships (Typically 1 class, per student / per term). If you accept a scholarship, you will get a 90% discount. The PTA pays the full fee to the teacher for that spot in the class. For this reason, please be sure your student attends class meetings. To apply for a scholarship, please Email Vicki.Davis@mxpta.org to request a scholarship code. Waitlist/Lottery All Classes have a Minimum number of required students and a Maximum number of accepted students. This Spring, Registration will be on a First Come / First Signed up basis, until the course reaches its Minimum Number. Once the Minimum number is reached, registration will Shift to Waitlisted mode. Students who are waitlisted will be added into their classes on 2/7. Waitlisted students will be added via lottery. For Many classes the minimum number is 6-8 and the maximum is 12-16 so all families still have a chance to get into their desired class. If you were not enrolled and waitlisted into your class last term, and are on the lottery list, please email me before the 2/7 deadline.
