Young Chefs Academy“Dedicated to teaching children the importance and fun in cooking”Established in April 2003, Young Chefs Academy offers cooking classes to children in a safe environment that encourages discovery and creativity. Our experiences deliver an immersive culinary adventure for the young chefs within our community, empowering budding chefs to grow in their knowledge of the culinary arts and self-confidence. While learning food preparation skills is the main ingredient at YCA, each class adds a heap of kitchen safety, a scoop of etiquette, a handful of table setting, a pinch of menu planning, and laughter to taste!
This program is owned by Jared and Keera Reid. They were both born and raised in Brooklyn, NY but have lived in Wesley Chapel, FL for the past 15 years. They have 5 sons so they’ve come to learn the importance of empowering their children to be independent! “With 5 active boys, we love to do anything that involves children. Combine that with a passion for cooking, and you have the perfect blend for a Young Chefs Academy!”
Jared and Keera believe in helping teach vital life skills to the children in their community and always look for ways to try to help the children continue to grow and enjoy rewarding activities!
