3D Sculpture, Art + AI

DescriptionIn this imaginative, hands-on class, young creators will explore the world of 3D sculpture through art, architecture, design, and playful innovation. Each week, students design and build in new ways, projects may include—constructing abstract sculptural towers, dreaming up interior spaces, and inventing futuristic buildings with real-world purpose. Kids will learn how artists and architects think: how shapes stack, how structures stand, how spaces make us feel, and how design can solve problems. With a blend of tactile air-dry clay, mixed media, and AI, students develop spatial reasoning, creativity, and design-thinking skills while bringing their ideas to life in 3D. By the end of the session, each young designer will have created a collection of sculptures that display their imagination, curiosity, and emerging architectural eye—plus a new confidence in building the world they want to see. Each class includes an educational focus and review with lots of time to apply their learnings into their creations. Students will work on a mix of individual and team projects, and they'll take home a collection of their own unique creations. This class & its enrollment price has been subsidized by a generous donation.

Intro to Fashion Design + AI

DescriptionIntro to Fashion Design + AI (Grades 3–5) for 1 1/2 hours. Where creativity meets technology—one outfit at a time! In this one-of-a-kind class, young designers will explore the exciting world of fashion through sketching, sewing, and styling—then take it to the next level by integrating kid-friendly Artificial Intelligence tools to dream up futuristic looks, generate bold patterns, and build a brand of their own. Each week, students will bring their ideas to life through hands-on projects such as hand sewing & basic stitches, DIY accessories, mood boards, paper doll styling, and AI-assisted fashion illustrations. Along the way, they’ll learn about color theory, fashion history, design thinking, and even how to predict future trends using AI! Perfect for creative minds who love to draw, design, or express themselves through style—this class sparks imagination while introducing kids to real-world tools and technology shaping the future of fashion. 👗 No experience needed—just big ideas and a love for creativity! 🔐 All AI tools are kid-friendly and used with safety, supervision, and creativity in mind. Our activities are radically student centered. Projects and level of difficulty are based on skill level, interests and aptitude.

This exciting program introduces kids to foundational skills in visual and graphic design using beginner-friendly software like Canva, Google Suite, and Figma. Young designers will take on exciting projects, which may include creating websites, designing app interfaces, making social media visuals, and producing print marketing materials. Through both solo and team projects, they'll learn how to transform ideas into digital masterpieces, while building skills that give them a creative edge in the digital age. Our curriculum is packed with engaging activities that inspire and develop creative confidence. Kids will experiment with colors, fonts, layouts, and more to bring their unique visions to life. By the end of the course, they'll walk away with a mini-portfolio of projects and the confidence to keep exploring the world of design!

Our curriculum is packed with engaging activities that inspire and develop creative confidence. Kids will experiment with colors, fonts, layouts, and more to bring their unique visions to life. By the end of the course, they'll walk away with a mini-portfolio of projects and the confidence to keep exploring the world of design! *Laptops are provided, 1 per student. Small Class size to foster a more engaging classroom environment and provide more individualized attention.*
