I am looking forward to meeting your children & planting lots of veggies, fruits, & flowers in our BF Day garden beds.
The garden area is well loved and it is so fun to see what will grow each year!
A bit about me...
I have my BS in Horticulture from Colorado State University, have studied applied western herbalism and am always broadening my knowledge of the plant world in my everyday life. As an urban gardener, I’m constantly learning what works and what doesn’t, using nature as my guide. I grow & provide/sell seeds and unique veggie/herb starts for my Fremont neighborhood community as a way of sustainable food outreach and I’m the formulator/founder of Ballard Organic, an organic skincare company offering pure & potent seasonal beauty products for ALL skin! (shameless self promotion)
My children, Ellis (5th grade) & Emmeline (3rd grade), love BF Day and keep our family busy (as I’m sure you are well familiar with!). They will be attending garden club and love being outside exploring in nature.
I look forward to getting to know your children and helping them to grow their confidence in plant identification, garden skills and reinforcing a love & appreciation for nature.
