Please join Learn'ique for six weeks of ooey-gooey, hands-on fun in Slime-Time......the ultimate sensory STEAM workshop! Designed for children Pre-K- 3rd grade, this exciting program will have your little scientists stretching, squishing, and experimenting with all kinds of slime.....the most perfect way to explore chemistry, textures, colors, and creativity! Each week, we’ll dive into a new Slime-Time theme, from glow-in-the-dark slime to fluffy cloud slime, magnetic slime, edible slime, and more! Kids will mix, measure, and discover how simple ingredients transform into amazing, stretchy creations while learning basic scientific concepts like chemical reactions, polymers, and viscosity—all in a playful, and engaging way of course. Along the way, we’ll also incorporate storytelling, problem-solving challenges, and fine motor skill activities to make the learning feel like endless play! Description
Learn piece names, values and movements, the rules of chess and how to record their games. Once students have mastered these concepts, they learn how to select good moves, avoid common mistakes and unforced errors. They look at the role of pawns and examine different pawn structures. The course continues with introducing key tactics (pins, forks battering rams, and discovered attacks).
