During these 9 weeks, we will be planting seeds, starts, tending to the soil & garden, learning about garden pests & beneficial insects, harvesting veggies, fruits & herbs and beautifying our school yard! A big focus will be on what it takes for a seed to thrive, caring for plants, identification of edible herbs, fruits & flowers, building healthy soil as a foundation for growing food and cultivating responsibility & respect for the BF Day garden & our school. We intend to have lots of fun too!! We will be meeting every WEDNESDAY from 1:10-2:30pm at the South end of the playground, in the garden area. This is where parent pick-up will be. Garden Club will be running for 9 weeks starting Wednesday, April 4 and ending on Wednesday, June 4. Please have appropriate clothing for being outside rain or shine for your child. There will be dirt involved 😊 so please know that while we intend to keep it in the garden beds we can’t guarantee super clean kids! Thank you to everyone for paying the suggested donation for garden club ~ the money will be used for seeds, starts, soil, hopefully some new bark chips and garden supplies! Otherwise, the authorization will remain in effect for 5 years or until the media utilizing the photograph(s) or interviews are no longer in use, whichever occurs later. I understand that The Little Medical School will not condition my and/or my child’s participation on whether I sign this consent and authorization. My registration evidences my voluntary consent and authorization for the publication of visual images and/or audio recordings of me and/or my child by The Little Medical School. Confidentiality and non-use agreement: 1. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION. For purposes of this Agreement “Confidential Information” shall include, without limitation, the following information and documentation concerning the respective business and affairs of LMS: financial matters and conditions, business practices, policies, procedures and business processes, intellectual property including, but not limited to copyrights, patents, trademarks and service marks, trade secrets, know how and other information not generally known or used in the trade and industry. 2. PROTECTION OF CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION. INDIVIDUAL agrees to keep the Confidential Information of LMS in strict confidence and not to disclose or otherwise use such Confidential Information for any purpose other than as is necessary to assess the feasibility, development and implementation of the Project. INDIVIDUAL agrees not to utilize the Confidential Information of LMS in any manner to compete with or criticize LMS. INDIVIDUAL agrees that Confidential Information is the exclusive property of LMS and, INDIVIDUAL shall not copy or reproduce or permit such items to be copied or reproduced by any method without the express written permission of the disclosing party. 3. APPLICABLE LAW. This Agreement is to be made under and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri and constitutes the entire understanding between the parties hereto with respect to the subject matter hereof and merges any and all prior agreements, understandings and representations. 4. REMEDY. INDIVIDUAL understands and agrees that, because of the unique nature of the Confidential Information, LMS will suffer irreparable harm in the event that INDIVIDUAL fails to comply with any of its obligations under this Agreement and monetary damages will be inadequate to compensate LMS for such breach. Accordingly, INDIVIDUAL agrees that LMS shall, in addition to any other remedies available to it at law or in equity, be entitled to injunctive relief to enforce the terms of this Agreement.
