DescriptionDuring Passages & Pathways, Summer Sage campers step into a week centered on movement, discovery, and growth. Through hands-on experiences rooted in geography, history, navigation, and physical challenge, students examine how people travel through places—and how perseverance, awareness, and collaboration shape personal journeys.
Morning and afternoon sessions remain unified by the weekly focus while introducing distinct challenges, materials, and experiences—keeping energy high and engagement renewed throughout the day.
In this week-long imaginative, movement-based introduction to direction, awareness, and discovery, students will:
- Investigate location concepts such as near and far, start and finish, using simple maps and visuals
- Move through playful physical courses that support coordination, balance, and courage
- Practice calm focus and body awareness through guided breathing and motion
- Act out creative adventures using storytelling and expressive movement
- Strengthen social skills by listening, cooperating, and supporting peers
Passages & Pathways challenges campers to move with intention, think expansively, and discover how every route - chosen or unexpected - builds strength, insight, and independence.
