$60 for 10 classes
Description
Students (Grades 3+) will learn introductory programming concepts using hands-on LEGO robots. The projects are designed to get students thinking about the patterns and structure of not just robotics, but problem-solving more generally. This club is non-competitive and fosters skill-building and teamwork. Participation in the Robotics Club is a learning opportunity, not a drop-in or childcare program. Students are expected to follow instructions, stay engaged, and treat teammates, instructors, and materials with respect. Consistent positive behavior ensures a safe, collaborative environment where everyone can learn and have fun. This activity is run by adult volunteers with background clearance. Scholarships are available for families needing economic assistance; please contact stem@westwoodlandpta.org.
