Bocce Ball is a traditional Italian game played in small villages and parks in Italy. The game is usually played on a rectangular court with sand or oyster shells. The game consists of 8 Bocce Balls and a pallino (target ball). Each player or team takes their turn to try and roll/toss their bocce ball closest to the pallino to score and win a point. After all balls are thrown, a winner is decided, and a new frame/round starts from the other side. Bocce Ball is fun sport that will teach skills such as teamwork, strategy, technique, patience, hand-eye coordination, and friendly competition. Bocce ties in aspects of other games such as golf/mini golf, horseshoes, and bowling. At the Chabot Bocce Club, depending on our membership size, we will be traveling around the campus playing Bocce in some very fun environments. #boccewithoutborders
