Description
Get ready to explore mixed media art in a fun, hands-on weekly adventure! Students will explore textiles, sculpture, printmaking, and collage with fun winter themes. We will experiment with weaving, stamp-making, 3D paper crafts, and more! Along the way, they’ll discover how to combine materials, build textures, and create layered artworks using a variety of surfaces. With guided instruction and plenty of creative freedom, each child will build skills and make art that feels truly their own. • Grades 1st - 3rd: 2:25–3:45 pm / Grades 4th - 6th: 2:45–3:45 pm • January 9th - March 20th Dates: Fridays - Jan 16, Jan 23, Jan 30, Feb 6, Feb 13, Feb 27, Mar 6, Mar 13, Mar 20 (10 sessions) • Fee: $259 (Materials Included!)

About the provider
Jennifer Mazzucco is a multimedia artist and educator with a BFA from Hartford Art School and a Master of Education from Pace University. For over three decades she has fostered community engagement through shared workspaces and nonprofit art organizations. Jennifer’s recent solo show at Abrams Claghorn featured 65 pandemic-era paintings, and she has exhibited at various venues including group shows at the Compound Gallery, Emery Arts, and the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art. She currently teaches at Kala Institute, nurturing youth creativity in East Bay schools.
