Hey Slavens’ kids! Are you in third, fourth, fifth or sixth grade and love taking pictures on a phone or tablet? Imagine what you could do with a real camera and awesome new skills!
Join Ms. Brody and Ms. Annabel's small photography club where we'll explore the world through a lens and learn how to take amazing photos. This isn't just about capturing pictures, it's about seeing the world in a whole new way. Our club is the perfect place to make new friends, have fun and become a superstar photographer! At the end of the session you’ll take home your own photo scrapbook. Don't miss out on this chance to turn your photos from good to great!
Parents, we recognize this is an investment but it covers expensive supplies (cameras, SD cards, printing) and Homeroom and school fees. Your child will benefit from being taught by an artist with over 30 exhibitions and a degree in photography.
What You Can Look Forward to Learning:
* Cool Photography Tricks: We'll teach you all the basics, like how to frame a shot, find the best light and use different angles to make your photos pop!
* Photo Editing Magic: Learn how to use editing software to make your photos even better. We'll show you how to crop, adjust colors and add cool effects.
* Boost Your Creativity: Photography is a fantastic way to express yourself and tell stories without words. We'll have fun challenges that help you think outside the box and find your own unique style.
* Mindfulness and Focus: Taking pictures can be a very relaxing activity. We'll practice being present and focusing on the details around us, which is a great skill for both photography and life! We’ll also strengthen our growth-mindset and learn how to transform “mistakes” into masterpieces.
