Description
In this presentation club, kids will build a foundation for confident communication and public speaking skills. They'll develop these essential skills through the creation and delivering their very own presentations on broad topics that they are passionate about.
Over the course of the club, students will learn how to organize their ideas, create engaging visual, and use effective speaking techniques. They will use these skills to create a variety of fun presentations, from persuasive "Ted-style" talks to informative slideshows about their favorite animals or hobbies. Along the way, they will learn techniques used by professionals to structure a persuasive speech , designing impactful visuals, and using body language and voice to capture an audience. The club will have a showcase at the end where students can be proud to share their final presentations with friends and family.

No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
A program may be canceled in its entirety due to lack of enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In this case, a full refund will be granted to all participants.
Refunds are based on when the cancellation is received. Cancellations received:
• One week or more prior to class start date will receive a full refund.
• Within one week of the class start date and through the first week of class – IF WE CAN FILL THE SPOT, a prorated refund. Proration will be based on the number of classes attended during the first week.
• After the first week of class, NO REFUNDS through the PTSA. Refunds after the first week are done at the discretion of the vendor at the vendors rate.
• There are no refunds for missed classes. Snow days will be made up if possible.
