Description
Girls Who Code will be a club taught by members of Princeton University’s Girls Who Code club, where students can learn basic Python programming and computer science principles in a collaborative and safe environment. The lessons will be tailored to girls, but any student is welcome. The Girls Who Code mission is to close the gender gap in technology. We hope to introduce girls to coding, and build a community of fabulous young engineers! NOTE: This club requires a dedicated Parent Volunteer. If one can't be found, it may have to be cancelled. Please email riverside.afterschoolclubs@gmail.com if you can volunteer for the entire season (or for even a few sessions). No coding experience needed; will only need to assist with attendance and dismissal and be present as a PTO representative.
What to bring
No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
