Description
We’re excited to partner with Rookly Chess to bring a personalized chess enrichment to Oak Hill. Learn how to carefully plan and execute your moves, develop critical thinking and decision-making skills, and deepen your friendships. All lessons are interactive and customizable to all levels of experience. The class is a combination of learning chess skills and playing.
This class will be taught virtually by Daniel Guel, the former President of the Baylor University Chess Team. Daniel is a US Chess Federation Class A player and a full time team member of Rookly. Mr. Britt will be supporting chess players as the on-campus assistant and tech support instructor.
This class will be offered in the Tech Barn and is appropriate for grades 1st through 8th.
