Description
This one hour class is for a Parent and their Child and will cover the basic methods for Tie Dye while using permanent markers! It is an easy and simple process. Both the parent and the child will be making a shirt and learning the process. Create colorful circles, pinch pleats and accordions. The results are great and can be used for future Birthday Parties and gatherings. What a fun way to kick off your Independence Day celebration!

What to bring
a pre-washed white tee shirt, Large RED and BLUE permanent Sharpie Markers, Rubber bands,, bits of string or ribbon, paper clips, rubbing alcohol, a straw or paintbrush and a hanger for each shirt for drying

Creative Explorer
Having taught preschoolers to high schoolers, I find working with young minds a pleasure. I love to explore with all forms of media! Teaching kids to discover their talents is exciting. Playing with science, language, math and art touches all the bases and allows kids to expand their horizons. Seeing their success and excitement inspires me to teach.
