Description
Students on the Sunshine Times Newspaper Club will help write and design the official school newspaper for LAES. They will also learn about journalism with fun activities that teach how to find story ideas, how to conduct interviews, and how to write interesting articles.
The club is run by McKay Coppins (father of two LAES students), who ran his high
school newspaper and college newspaper, and who currently works for The Atlantic
magazine. McKay has a passion for school newspapers, and he’s excited to foster that same enthusiasm in our LAES students!
