In tap, the students will practice rudimentary tap elements, rhythmic listening exercises, traveling combinations, and improvisation. The class time is divided in half to work on each style. Dress Code Girls: Black leotard, black yoga pants/leggings, tan jazz shoes and black tap shoes. Hair MUST be in a pony-tail or bun, before entering the classroom. Boys: White T-shirt, black shorts/pants, black jazz shoes and black tap shoes. Dancers must be in uniform at the start of class. Don’t forget a snack and water bottle for your dancer. Pick-Up: Dance instructors will pick up the dancers at 3:15pm and walk them to the PAC Dance Studio. Dancers will then change into their dance clothing. If a program has low enrollment, families will be notified before the first class or camp that it may be at risk of cancellation. We always aim to run every offering, but if the minimum enrollment is not met, the program may be cancelled. If that happens, families will be offered alternative class/camp options, when possible. If no alternative works, a full refund will be issued 🔄 Withdrawals & Transfers Before the published withdrawal deadlines, you may withdraw for any reason and receive a full refund. You may request to transfer to another class or camp — we will do our best to accommodate. St. Margaret’s Extension Programs offer safe, engaging, and joyful experiences beyond the school day through after-school enrichment, Extended Day, and Summer at St. Margaret’s. With hands-on learning across science, arts, athletics, outdoor adventures, and imaginative play, we nurture the whole child and uphold our core values.
