Description
Mindful Movers is a dance class for movers of all genders! We’ll build skills like jumping and tumbling while supporting the sensory system with movement that strengthens executive function. Through play-based, full-body exploration, children will build a strong foundation for dance or any future activities.
This class is offered from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoons. Children will be supervised from 2:45-3:30pm and remain in the Early School building, thus the higher materials fee. A snack will be provided in the afternoons but if you have a picky eater please pack a snack as we cannot offer multiple choices and your child may not prefer what we offer.
The class will take place in an Early School room and NOT a dance studio.
Please note that this class is not a traditional dance class per so but a movement class; no dance uniform is required. Students may or may not participate in the December and April dance showcased, tbd by the Director of the Dance Conservatory and teacher at a later time.

comfortable clothing for free movement , water bottle clearly labeled with child's name and IMPORTANT: a small snack will be provided as part of this class but for picky eaters we suggest packing an additional snack on Tuesdays
Cancellation policy
Class Changes and Cancellations
All class details (dates, times, grade levels, costs, teachers) are subject to change until registration opens.
If a class has low enrollment after registration opens, families will be notified before the first class that the program is at risk of cancellation. We always aim to run each class, but if the minimum number of students is not met, the class may be cancelled.
If a class is cancelled, families will be offered alternative class options for the same day when possible. If no alternative works for your schedule, you will receive a full refund.
Withdrawing and Transfers
Prior to withdrawal deadlines, you may withdraw your child from any class for any reason and receive a full refund. If you wish to transfer your child to a different class, please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If the new class has higher tuition or materials fees, you will be responsible for the difference.
No refunds or credits will be issued after the following deadlines:
Fall 2025: September 8
Winter 2025: November 14
Spring 2026: February 27
Yearlong Dance Conservatory: September 12
Refunds
If we cancel a class for any reason, a full refund will be issued. No refunds or credits will be given after the deadlines listed above. If you have questions or special circumstances, please reach out to us and we will be happy to discuss options with you.
