Join Charles Wright Academy and Theater of Arts Discipline (TOAD) after school for a month-long theater program. Students will learn basic theater and acting principles, choreography, and singing, all while having fun in the process. TOAD's mission is “to inspire, nurture, challenge, amaze, educate, and empower young theatre artists via top-quality performing experiences.” With our programs, we seek to stimulate, celebrate, and enhance young actors’ and audiences’ understanding of themselves and others through the shared magic of live theatre.
Annie: Kids
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
