Description
Today, public speaking has never been a more important skill. Our fun and engaging Speech and Debate Club will give participants the tools to speak confidently in any setting. The club is organized by Rose Institute, which since 2011 has specialized in connecting speakers with their audiences. Complete with tailored lessons, exercises, games, speeches, in class presentations, and inter-school competitions, our programs are an absolute blast. Strengthen your confidence, find your voice, and prepare for success!
Our Speech and Debate Club includes:
Fundamentals of public speaking such as posture, articulation, and vocal expression.
Speech-writing workshops for crafting strong theses and using precise rhetoric.
Confidence-building exercises for everyday situations such as making conversation.
Fundamentals of debate for learning how to construct, deliver, and respond to an argument.

No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
With the submission of any application, you agree to the following:
All registrations include a non-refundable $50 deposit.
In order to officially cancel your application, you must contact Rose Debate Institute with the express wish by email (The email's date and timestamp is the date RDI will consider as the date of receipt. We are not responsible for lost or misdirected emails).
All cancellation requests must be received within two weeks after the start date of the program for which the application is filed.
