GOTR is a national social-emotional learning program that combines physical games (walking/running) with awareness and skills in managing emotions, setting goals, building relationships, and making responsible decisions. This program is perfect for kids who like to play outside with friends but are not always interested in competitive sports. We start with a goal that seems impossible to many - finishing a 5k - and slowly build mental, emotional, and physical skills as a team to finish (and have fun at!) the end-of-season 5k.

The *max* cost for the 16 sessions is $350.
REGISTRATION COST IS A SLIDING SCALE PER NEED, AND CAN BE AS LOW AS $50.
We use the term “Girls” which refers to gender-expansive youth (cis girls, trans girls, nonbinary youth, gender non-conforming youth, gender queer youth, and any girl-identified youth).
Our season starts on September 9th and concludes with the 5K event on November 8.
Program includes:
+ All lessons conducted by certified GOTR Coaches (trained and background-checked)
+ Girls on the Run T-shirt, cinch sack, and journal
+ Participation in the season-ending 5K, including a finisher's medal
+ Empowering your girl to lead an active lifestyle and build friendships to last a lifetime!
Caregivers can be a Girls on the Run coach at PHE this fall! Coaches work in groups — no running experience needed, just enthusiasm and care. Coaches receive training, support, and a detailed curriculum, along with all materials needed.
