WHAT IS A SUBSCRIPTION?
A subscription for Breakfast Buddies gets you a 20% discounted rate. It is a great idea if you will use the program consistently. There are 1-, 2-, 3-, and 5-day-per-week options. We do not require you to commit to specific days of the week, although the Homeroom system will ask you to select preferred days. Just pick days when you are most likely to use the service. You can decide on what date you would like to start the subscription. The cost per day is $12 plus a credit card service fee of 50 cents. You can cancel the subscription at any time.
CAN I MOVE DAYS AROUND?
We will keep track of your attendance. You can "borrow" up to 4 unused days from a past or future week anytime in the year if you need more care in a given week. Days that are borrowed in excess of the 4-day limit can be purchased at the $15 drop-in rate. Please email ASEbreakfastbuddies@gmail.com to discuss options.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
For subscriptions, you will be billed monthly by Homeroom. The subscription is paid on the 1st of the month and is prorated if you start later than August 11th. If you cancel your subscription, you will no longer be billed.
SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS
All of the below are $12 plus a credit card service fee of 50 cents per day.
* 1, 2, or 3 days per week: For this option, we have multiplied the number of days per week times the number of weeks when school is in session. (In other words, we do not count weeks such as Spring Break when school is completely closed.) This cost is then spread evenly across 11 payments from August 1st to June 1st.
* 5 days per week: This option counts every day that school is in session and spreads the cost evenly across 11 payments from August 1st to June 1st.
NO REFUNDS FOR PAST UNUSED DAYS OR MID-MONTH CANCELLATIONS
There are no refunds for past unused days such as days when your child was absent from school. There are no refunds if you cancel mid-month because of how the payments are structured -- they are equal installments across the school year, not specifically tied to the number of days in a given month. You will not be billed going forward after canceling the subscription.
PROGRAM DETAILS
* SCHEDULE: 7:30am - 8:30am
* CALENDAR: Breakfast Buddies is open every day that school is open, including the first day of school, the last day of school, and any half days.
* LOCATION: Drop off to Beach Blacktop outside Schoolmates.
* PROVIDERS: Sarah Normart of PRD/Schoolmates. When a substitute is needed, Beach Parents Organization volunteers will fill in or we will arrange for a paid substitute who has prior PRD experience.
* BREAKFAST: Provided by our school’s free breakfast program.
* RAINY DAYS: Look for the group in the usual location. If you cannot find them, they may be in the school auditorium. Ring the school doorbell on Lake Ave to gain access.
