Description
Tara Scheyer’s Piano Club is a group class where students take a fun musical journey centered around the piano! This class is for children aged 5-8 and is meant to be a precursor to private piano lessons.
Students will discover the fundamentals of music theory, rhythm and melody through exciting games and interactive activities. They will learn to read sheet music by finger numbers and explore various musical genres while also learning the importance of collaboration and ensemble playing.
This class meets in Mrs Scheyer's music classroom at Episcopal Day School for ten 45-minute classes + a recital in the Parish Hall at the end of the session.
