DescriptionHello,Junior Optimists is My name is Ms. Jackson, and this will be my second year of co-leading the Junior Optimist Club with our school counselor, Ms. Akpinar. We are very excited for another year! I am the school social worker at Louise Archer, and I am here in the building on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Junior Optimist Club will meet 8:30-9:00 am on one Thursday each month starting in September. Once your student registers for the club, I will be sending a calendar with meeting dates and list of activities/topics/projects.
Junior Optimist Club is a vibrant and engaging organization for young people dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities while developing leadership skills. The Louise Archer Junior Optimist Club is open to 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders who will be able to participate in a variety of community service projects, organize charitable events, and take on leadership roles.Through these activities, members learn the values of optimism, teamwork, and social responsibility. The Junior Optimist Club focuses on fostering personal growth and community involvement. By working together on these initiatives, young members not only contribute to their communities but also build essential skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.The club operates under the guidance of our local Vienna Optimist Club.
