Description
Calling all young creators! In this interactive class, students will become game designers as they learn to build their very own video games from the ground up. Using kid-friendly, block-based coding tools, students will: * Explore the game design process - plan, build, test, and improve * Learn essential coding concepts like events, conditionals, loops, and variables * Design game elements, including sprites, backdrops, scoring systems, and player controls No prior experience needed—just imagination and a love of games!
What to bring
No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.

About the provider
Miss Sou graduated in Computer Information Systems (CIS) and, is the owner and lead trainer at her 'First Start Computer Science' & 'First Start Art Studio' small businesses in Carmel, Indiana. Teaching kids has become her passion and she would like to inspire kids to learn Computer Science. She has enjoyed teaching children from her studio, community schools & other learning centers since 2013! Successfully conducted summer camps over many years, engaging workshops, and hosted several events focusing on STEAM!
