How do we raise confident, independent kids ready to thrive in an unpredictable world? How do we help them build the inner toolkit they’ll need for success beyond the classroom?
Now in its second year at ISI, Life Beyond School is ISI's first SEL enrichment program of its kind—designed to develop the very character traits that CEOs and global leaders say are essential for the next generation: confidence, adaptability, creativity, and emotional intelligence.
In this multi-part series, we’re building those future-ready skills from the inside out. **This year’s theme kicks off with a deep dive into Creativity **—helping children develop their imagination, problem-solving mindset, and “possibility thinking” through hands-on, playful challenges.
Led by trusted educators and supported by the award-winning Life Beyond School curriculum, this unique program is designed for both children and their families. Kids participate in engaging, interactive sessions that help them build real-world leadership skills through joy and play. Families receive simple, research-based materials to reinforce these habits at home—turning everyday routines into teachable moments, naturally and at your own pace.

Life Beyond School - Leadership Skills
How do we raise confident, independent kids? How can we reinforce habits that will help them in Life Beyond School? Learn how to help your child develop the very character traits CEOs and industry leaders say are needed in future leaders. In this multi-part series, we are building and teaching our children how to excel in Life Beyond School in several key skills.
Join us at Life Beyond School, as we continue to help families lay the groundwork of success in the first Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)-based program specifically designed for kids AND their parents. Led by ISI parents Elizabeth Prince (M.Ed. Admin) and Angie Lau (Founder and broadcast anchor/journalist), this unique program helps your child develop these foundational lifelong habits.
Kids... get ready to learn how to face the world with confidence, develop a growth mindset, and overcome adversity with fun, interactive activities! Families get supportive resources to expand these skills at home. Included with the program are research-based LBS guide materials that can turn routine family time into organic and natural teachable moments at your own pace.
