Description
We'll be exploring creative expression by using different media and techniques in a variety of projects. Some will be based on a specific artwork or artist, others may be based on real objects, some may spring entirely from the students imagination, and others will be more focused getting comfortable with particular media. Currently, I'm interested in work by Wayne Thiebaud, David Hockney, any Dutch artist, Japanese woodblock prints, and practicing watercolor. While I have ideas about what I want to present to the students, I try to accommodate their interests.

Cancellation policy
If you drop the class before the first lesson, you get a full refund.
If you drop the class after the first lesson, you will be refunded the cost of the rest of the classes minus the school fee and processing fees.

About the provider
Art is about learning how to use different materials effectively and experimenting with them. It's about playing around to see what unfolds but it is also about intention. I enjoy both approaches and want children to experience that as well. Some materials that are great to experiment with are watercolor, chalk pastel, oil pastel, colored and drawing pencils, markers, and acrylic paint .
