Whisk Around the World is your ticket to a global kitchen adventure! In this flavorful after-school program, your junior chefs will “whisk” away to a new country each week, exploring international cuisines, ingredients, and traditions through hands-on cooking fun. As we stir up global inspiration, students will also sharpen essential kitchen skills—including proper knife techniques, measuring, mixing, and teamwork—all while building confidence and curiosity one bite at a thyme. Whether slicing, dicing, or just spicing things up, our Junior Chefs will create tasty dishes, cook up culture, and learn through every fun-filled session. It’s a recipe for adventure—and it’s going to be souper! So, pack up those taste buds and lettuce take your young chef on this exciting journey. No passport required—just a hunger to explore!

Junior Chef Stars is where math, science, reading, and art mix with kids. They have been stirring up success since 2002 with this winning recipe. Formed to provide a creative learning platform, Junior Chef Stars (JCS) is proud to serve as the Bay Area’s premier professional cooking school for children and teens. The many programs offered encourage socialization, team building, and self confidence, while providing a solid foundation of perfected culinary skills and nutritional awareness. JCS’s dedicated faculty provide hands-on cooking experiences for youth ages three to eighteen – as well as parents, educators, and caregivers. JCS is proud to offer seasonal camps, birthday parties, special events, and field trips.
