Description
We'll be experimenting with different media (e.g., watercolor, chalk and oil pastels, maybe acrylic paint) and techniques. Some projects will be based on specific art works or artists (perhaps Marc Chagall, Hilma af Klint, Henri Matisse, Maurice Sendak, or Judith Leyster), others will be based on themes (for example, animals, surrealism, or plants), and some will be focussed on technique (printingmaking or mixing colors, tints, and shade). All have space for individual expression.

Cancellation policy
If you drop the class before the first lesson, you get a full refund.
If you drop the class after the first lesson, you will be refunded the cost of the rest of the classes minus the school fee and processing fees.

About the provider
Art is about learning how to use different materials effectively and experimenting with them. It's about playing around to see what unfolds but it is also about intention. I enjoy both approaches and want children to experience that as well. Some materials that are great to experiment with are watercolor, chalk pastel, oil pastel, colored and drawing pencils, markers, and acrylic paint .
