Description
This program is a creative planning process that leads to product prototypes. Students identify criteria and constraints related to the design and development of various products, for example "a shirt which can also be used as pants'', "a motorcycle with windshield wipers", or "an autonomous car with different sensors", and etc. They identify and describe the major steps in the engineering design process and analyze possible solutions to the design challenge.

AFTERSCHOOL
• Once classes are established, no refunds will be given. Classes are considered established fourteen days prior to the start of the session, and will be confirmed by email three days before the start of the class.
• No partial refunds or make-ups for missed classes.
• Registrations are subject to a non-refundable fee of $20.
• Some programs may have special refund/credit restrictions. These restrictions will be stated in program descriptions.
