Description
In this beginner-friendly class, young crafters will learn the basics of crochet in a relaxed, hands-on environment. This course will guide kids through easy-to-follow instructions on how to hold a crochet hook and make basic stitches such as the chain, single crochet, and double crochet.
Handling a crochet hook and manipulating yarn strengthens hand-eye coordination and fine motor control. Crochet teaches kids to slow down, follow steps carefully, and see a project through from beginning to end, building concentration and perseverance. Counting stitches, understanding patterns, and visualizing shapes all reinforce basic math concepts and spatial reasoning.
Materials that will be provided for this class include crochet hooks, yarn, stitch markers, and scissors.

No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
WITHDRAWALS, CANCELLATIONS, & REFUND POLICY
For new students (those who have never been with us before), withdrawals/transfers/refund requests must be requested prior to the 2nd activity meeting. A prorated refund will be issued and a $35 processing fee will be incurred.
*Returning students who have joined this class prior to this session (either a previous semester, season, or year) will not be eligible for a refund.
Refund requests after the second class will not be honored.
Full refunds will be issued if a course is cancelled by PVG Education.
Courses not reaching their minimum enrollment will be cancelled.
