Perfectly Whelmed Improv: Confidence through Validation
Geri Engberg has been teaching improv to kids, teens and adults in the Bay Area for 12 years. She teaches in classrooms, after school programs, homeschool settings, libraries, non profits, workplaces and more. During the pandemic she held over 1000 class meetings online. Her primary focus is teaching kids and teens and she has received feedback from countless parents about how improv helped their kids gain confidence and find their voice. Fun fact: Modern short form improv was invented for kids in the 1930's and was adapted to adults later. Kids are amazing improvisers because improv was designed especially for them.
