Description
Students will work together as an ensemble to play rhythmically compelling music using xylophones and unpitched percussion. Music from a variety of countries, as well as popular music and improvisation will be explored. No previous experience playing necessary. Attendance at weekly rehearsals, and a yearlong commitment to the group is expected. (Students may come to the first two rehearsals prior to making their commitment).
