Description
Hummingbird Music School's Piano Class is a fun and thorough introduction to the piano, designed specifically for K-8th graders. In this class students are given an introduction both to the keyboard and to the study of music, with a focus on hand position, note-reading, chord vocabulary, rhythm, and music theory, all while learning fun songs at each class. Each student will have their own keyboards, headphones and lesson book (we use the most well-regarded and child-friendly piano method). And parents will receive updates after each class from MySkillChart, which tracks individual student progress through Hummingbird’s curriculum.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation: Hummingbird Music School reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment. If a class is cancelled, students will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another class. If a student does not enroll in another class, they will receive a full refund.
Withdrawal: You may withdraw from a class before or within 24 hours after the first class. Hummingbird Music School will refund the tuition (minus the cost of the first class and a $25 processing fee). No further refunds will be processed after that window.

About the provider
We are a group of extraordinary musicians & experienced music educators dedicated to providing quality, customized music education for students of all kinds. We believe that music lessons should be supportive, nurturing & fun. Whether in private or semi-private lessons, group after-school music classes, online classes, or summer rock band camp, students are given a solid foundation in instrument technique, note and rhythm reading, music theory and music history. But most of all, students experience the joy of playing music.
Our Group Music Classes run for approx. 10 weeks, once a week. Class size is limited to ensure students receive individualized instruction and feedback.
