Description
Our experienced Teaching Artists use a variety of exciting theatre games to help kids express themselves, connect with their peers, and have a creative afternoon full of DRAMA! Students who take our introductory drama classes will learn about building an ensemble, tableaux, pantomime, and additional theatre pedagogy through drama games. Come join the fun! Students will meet their teaching artist at the flagpole on the blacktop. Any adults picking up their child after class should also meet at the flagpole.

No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
Tuition fees are non-refundable, non-transferrable. NCTC reserves the right to cancel a class if enrollment is insufficient and any tuition and fees for those classes will be refunded in full. All dates, times, and programming are subject to change. If you cancel registration prior to 10 days before the first class, you will be issued a tuition refund, minus a processing fee of 6.75% of your original payment. If you cancel your registration within 10 days of the first class, there will be no refunds unless your spot can be filled by a student on the waiting list. No refunds will be issued after the first day of class. Tuition credits must be used for the same student within one year of the date issued and cannot be transferred to another person, including a family member. After one year of their issuance, credits will expire and no longer be available.

NCTC works with San Francisco schools to offer after-school programming and specialized residencies. We also partner with the Department of Children Youth and their Families (DCYF) to provide creative drama workshops to often marginalized communities who develop their talent, performance. and ensemble building skills. WORKSHOPS OFFERED After-School Drama Our weekly drama workshops for Grades K-8 use theatre games to help kids express themselves, connect with their peers, and have a creative afternoon full of DRAMA! Workshops typically meet one hour per week for 8-10 weeks. In-School Drama Residencies Looking for a fun new way to engage with students? Our drama residencies for Grades 3-12 are custom-built for the needs of your school community. Residencies typically meet 1-2 times per week for 4-10 weeks.
