Description
Nature Crafting & Herbalism is a hands-on summer camp where young artists and nature lovers explore the wonders of nature while transforming natural materials into stunning works of art. It is perfect for those who are curious to explore the magic of herbs! Campers will learn how to identify, grow, and use common medicinal plants while making fun, natural products like teas, salves, and herbal sprays.
Campers will:
Gather leaves, twigs, rocks, and other natural elements to use in their creations
Learn nature-based crafting techniques like weaving, nature printing, and clay sculpting
Explore Oak Hill’s forest for artistic inspiration
Discover the beauty of sustainable art and the importance of protecting nature
Make their own herbal products to take home!
Through a mix of creativity, exploration, and outdoor fun, middle schoolers will develop their artistic skills while deepening their connection to the natural world. Join us for a week of crafting, adventure, and endless inspiration!
Middle schoolers are given autonomy, choice, and responsibility so it feels like they are co creating the experience with their educator.
