About the provider
This course, Fundamentals First, offers your children steps to create independent learning, providing them with the foundation to build their confidence levels and foster ways to better approach their studies. Emphasis will be placed on research, writing, and library/information skills. Ideally for Grades 3-4-5, Fundamentals First is designed for academic success whereby students will be able to apply a variety of strategies from personal organizational skills to note taking to test taking strategies. No special equipment and no prerequisites are required. Mr. Orfini will supply your children with folders for handouts, notebooks, and pencils. All they need to bring is the desire to perform better in school by applying "fundamentals' first."
